Dice Not Doubling

What happens when you combine the two of the most tactically ferocious minds in the Dice Not comunity? What if you could find two players with complementary approaches to the battlefield and allow them to team up? Well, we don't know, but Matt and I teamed to to create Team Dice Not Included to go to Games Workshop's 40K Doubles. And we placed a respectable 27th of the 116 attending teams. Pretty good huh?

In other news, the team in gearing up en masse for the WPS's CC. We're in that relaxed phase of army painting where 1500/2000 points of models doesn't seem like too much work or too urgent a task. How that will change as the May Bank Holiday approaches.

In other news, we're also preparing for a bit of a nostalgiafest with Warhammer 40,000's second edition ("sekondedd"). We're trying to fish out all the old Dark Millennium gubbins needed to resurrect this piece of gaming history. The nice thing we can use our existing 4th edition ("forthedd") miniatures to jump straight in. Keep tuned for a series of articles showing how much the game's evolved with the passing of decades.
